Salvation Through Faith in Jesus Christ
The Only Way to Escape Hell Is Through the Perfect Sacrifice of Jesus Christ

There is no greater question a person can ask than this: How can I be saved? Not how can I become more religious, how can I improve my life, or how can I feel better about myself— but how can my soul be rescued from sin, judgment, and Hell?
The King James Bible gives a clear and certain answer. Salvation is not found in good works, religion, ceremonies, or human effort. Salvation is found only in Jesus Christ.
“Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”
— Acts 4:12 (KJV)
Man’s Greatest Problem Is Sin
Before a person can understand salvation, he must first understand why he needs to be saved. The Bible plainly teaches that every human being is a sinner before a holy God.
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;”
— Romans 3:23 (KJV)
Sin is not a small matter. Sin is rebellion against God. It is the reason man is separated from God and under judgment.
“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
— Romans 6:23 (KJV)
The wage of sin is death, and that includes eternal separation from God. The Bible also speaks clearly of final judgment.
“And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.”
— Revelation 20:14-15 (KJV)

Good Works Cannot Save the Soul
Many people hope that their goodness, kindness, or religious activity will be enough to get them into Heaven. But the Word of God says salvation cannot be earned.
“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”
— Ephesians 2:8-9 (KJV)
“Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us...”
— Titus 3:5 (KJV)
If works could save, then Jesus Christ would not have needed to die. But because sin requires a payment, and because man cannot pay that debt himself, God sent His Son.
Jesus Christ Was the Perfect Man
Jesus Christ was not merely a good teacher or a prophet. He was God manifest in the flesh, and He came into this world to save sinners.
“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us...”
— John 1:14 (KJV)
“For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;”
— 1 Timothy 2:5 (KJV)
What makes Jesus Christ unique is that He had no sin. He was the only perfect man to ever live. He was tempted, yet He never sinned.
“For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.”
— Hebrews 4:15 (KJV)
“Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:”
— 1 Peter 2:22 (KJV)
This matters deeply. If Jesus had been a sinner, He could not have died for sinners. But because He was sinless, He alone was qualified to be the sacrifice for our sins.

The Price Jesus Paid for Our Salvation
The reason we can escape Hell is because Jesus Christ paid the price that we could never pay. He took our place and bore the judgment of sin on the cross.
“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
— Romans 5:8 (KJV)
“For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God...”
— 1 Peter 3:18 (KJV)
Jesus died not for His own sins, but for ours. He, the Just One, suffered for the unjust. He paid the debt in full through His shed blood.
“And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.”
— Hebrews 9:22 (KJV)
“...the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.”
— 1 John 1:7 (KJV)
Not some sin. Not most sin. All sin. That is the power of the blood of Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ Rose Again
The gospel is not only that Jesus died, but that He was buried and rose again the third day. His resurrection proves that the payment for sin was accepted.
“For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:”
— 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 (KJV)
“I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore...”
— Revelation 1:18 (KJV)
Jesus is not a dead religious figure. He is the risen Saviour who conquered death, Hell, and the grave.

Salvation Is Through Faith in Jesus Christ
The Bible does not say to trust religion, trust your works, or trust yourself. It says to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
— John 3:16 (KJV)
“Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved...”
— Acts 16:30-31 (KJV)
Faith means placing your trust entirely in Jesus Christ—believing that His death, burial, and resurrection are enough to save your soul.
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”
— Romans 10:9 (KJV)
“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
— Romans 10:13 (KJV)
Why Faith Alone?
Because Jesus alone paid the price. No work of man can add to what Christ already finished at the cross.
“But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.”
— Romans 4:5 (KJV)
The sinner is not saved by becoming perfect. The sinner is saved by trusting the Perfect Man, Jesus Christ.

Assurance for the Believer
A person who has trusted Christ does not need to live in fear. The Bible says the believer has everlasting life.
“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation...”
— John 5:24 (KJV)
“There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus...”
— Romans 8:1 (KJV)
The believer escapes Hell not because he is worthy, but because Christ is worthy. Not because he paid the price, but because Jesus paid it in full.
The Most Important Question
The question is not whether you are religious. The question is not whether you have done good things. The question is not whether you are better than someone else.
The question is this: Have you trusted Jesus Christ as your Saviour?
“He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life...”
— John 3:36 (KJV)
Jesus Christ has already paid the price. The work is finished. The Saviour is alive. The invitation is open today.
Trust not in your works. Trust not in religion. Trust not in your goodness. Trust Jesus Christ alone.
“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
— Romans 10:13 (KJV)
